The implementation of DYPAs social tourism program continues, with its duration extended to 13 months and a new final date of June 30, 2026, offering the opportunity for winter getaways to thousands of beneficiaries.
Holders of social tourism vouchers can enjoy up to 6 overnight stays at tourist accommodation of their choice from DYPAs Provider Registry, following direct arrangement with the business.
For specific areas, enhanced benefits apply:
Up to 10 overnight stays, with zero private contribution, at accommodation on the islands of Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, Samos, and Rhodes.
Up to 12 overnight stays, completely free of charge, at accommodation in Northern Evia (Municipalities of IstiaiaAidipsos and MantoudiLimniAgia Anna), as well as in the Regional Units of Magnesia, Karditsa, Larissa, Trikala, and Evros.
In addition, ferry tickets are subsidized under the program, with a 25% private contribution for beneficiaries, while for persons with disabilities (PwD), ferry tickets are provided free of charge.
For accommodation providers, it is recalled that subsidy rates remain increased by 20% during the Christmas period (15.12.2025 14.01.2026). The increased subsidy applies throughout the year for accommodation in Northern Evia, Evros, and Thessaly, excluding the Sporades.
