Coral Travel is dynamically expanding its presence in Greece | Its new strategic plan for 2026

With a clear focus on the development and expansion of its portfolio, Coral Travel presented its action plan for the travel year 2026, emphasizing new destinations, broader hotel categories and upgraded technological services. As announced by the company’s CEO Koray Cavdir at the Starway Awards held in Belek, Turkey, the tourism organization is launching a new program of organized tours in countries where it already has a strong presence, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Egypt, where river cruises will now be added.

Strengthening key markets and new impetus in Greece
At the same time, Coral Travel is further strengthening its position in its key destinations, Turkey and Egypt, while strategically investing in Greece, which is gaining increasing importance in its portfolio.
In Crete, the company strengthened its partnership with Cactus Group, while in Kos it expanded its partnership with Gaia Hotels. In Rhodes, the portfolio is enriched with two new hotels: the Blue Sea Holiday Village, a four-star exclusive to Coral Travel, and the three-star Sun Beach Lindos.

Wider range of hotels and price containment
According to Mr. Cavdir, the company is aiming for a “wider range of hotel categories” in order to keep prices “affordable” for travelers. The average price of a holiday package increased in 2025 by around 100 euros, reaching 1,100 euros, which prompted Coral Travel to strengthen the middle segment of the market in particular, adding new units in this category.

New markets in the Middle East
The company also announces the expansion of its activities in the Middle East, with new destinations such as Bahrain, in partnership with airlines such as Condor, Eurowings, Emirates and Etihad. The portfolio for these countries — with an emphasis on Qatar and Oman — mainly includes four and five-star hotels.

Digital support and full commission for travel agencies
In the field of services, Coral Travel maintains all additional privileges for customers, such as flexible fares (Flex-Tarife), Rail&Fly, seat selection and additional baggage allowance, which continue to generate full commission for travel agencies.
According to Head of Sales Ender Karadag, booking processes will become simpler and more automated, thanks to the increased use of technology and artificial intelligence. AI is already helping to manage phone calls and requests, forwarding them directly to the right partners, resulting in improved responsiveness and faster service.

Visibility at travel agencies
To enhance its presence at points of sale, Coral Travel offers travel agencies free display screens, which present both the agency’s offers and content that the agencies themselves can customize. “We listen carefully to the needs of our network,” stressed Mr. Karadag, underlining open communication with travel agent partners.

Strong results for 2025
On the sidelines of the Starway Awards, Coral Travel presented its 2025 report: despite price increases, mainly in Turkey, the organization continued to grow, reaching 3.8 million customers and a turnover of 3.5 billion euros.
Of these, 918,000 travelers came from the German-speaking market (DACH), just below the target of one million. For 2026, Mr. Cavdir aims to further strengthen sales through an expanded sales network, noting that the long-term goal is “for Coral Travel to firmly establish itself among the top five general tour operators in Germany.”
