German travel agents will be able to see the situation on Kos at a special fvw workshop on the Greek island in late June.
Bookings for the popular Greek island dropped last year and again this year due to publicity surrounding refugees from Turkey, although the flow of asylum-seekers has been reduced dramatically in recent weeks.
Travel agents from Germany will get the chance to see the situation on Kos for themselves at the event from June 29-July 2. The four-day workshop includes a one-day conference where tour operators and hoteliers will discuss recent developments and the outlook for this summer, along with hotel visits and excursions.
Participants will fly with sponsor TUIfly from D?sseldorf, Hanover and Munich. Other sponsors for the fvw workshop are the Hoteliers Association of Kos, the Aegean Islands association and the Greece Tourist Board.
