The Federation of Tourist and Travel Agencies of Greece (FedHATTA) signed with the Association of American Travel Agencies (ASTA) and the Development and the Athens Municipality’s Tourism Promotion and Development Society (EATA) two co-operation agreements on organized promotion of Greece and Athens, respectively, as tourist destinations in the US tourist market.
The agreements provide for the promotion of bilateral tourism development with the exchange of marketing strategies, contacts and information in relation to promotional activities at international level as well as the joint promotion of destinations and the organization of familiarization trips.
The agreement was signed by FedHATTA President Lysandros Tsilidis and ASTA Business Development Deputy Robert Duglin, in the presence of Mr. Vyronas Argyris, Member of the Organizing Committee for the ASTA Destination Expo 2018. The agreement for Athens was also signed by the EATA Managing Director, Mr. Alexis Galinos.
Furthermore, Mr. Tsilidis, Mr. Duglin and the Mayor of Athens Mr. George Kaminis, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the 5th Travel Trade Athens.
