Greek travel agents’ federation FedHATTA on Wednesday sharply criticized an industrial action by a union representing guards of archaeological sites in the country, scheduled for Saturday, between 8 a.m. and noon.
Saturday is the day before Orthodox Easter Sunday, an unofficial beginning to the fair-weather tourism season in Greece.
FedHATTA noted that the four-work work stoppage will damage the country’s image, leaving visitors outside closed archaeological sites.
