The Moseley Beach Club on Glenelg beach in Adelaide brings to mind the posh beach clubs of Mykonos, where the party starts early and never ends, greekreporter.com notes in a recent article.
The club, which opened last weekend for its second season, has a capacity of 350 and has become a new hot spot in Adelaide. A victim of an unfortunate recent storm, it was forced to close this week, but will reopen on December 1st.
For Australians who have visited the cosmopolitan Greek island, it’s not only the blue and white pillows, the white sun loungers and the dozens of Moet champagne bottles that might remind them of Mykonos. It is simply the “Fun fun fun”, as the Beach Boys song goes. A recent Facebook post from the resort noted: ‘Today’s temperature: 26 and sunny with a 99% chance of cocktails”.
