Cyprus Deputy Minister for Shipping appeared cautiously optimistic over the season’s tourism prospects despite the setback caused by the war in Ukraine, stressing that Google searches for Cyprus the last few months topped the respective searches for the island in 2019, a record year for Cypriot tourism, CNA reports.
Travel agents are confident that 2022 will be much better for tourism in comparison to 2021, the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (Acta) announced.
