The President of the Federation of Hellenic Travel & Tourism Agency Associations (FedHATTA), Mr. Lysandros Tsilidis, attended an event hosted by the Chinese airline Juneyao Airlines on Thursday, January 23.
The event was a networking event with Greek tourism stakeholders, hosted by the CEO of the airline group, Mr. Cheng Ji Yu, the Mayor of Shanghai Zheng Gong, and the Chinese Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Fang Qiu.
Both Mr. Cheng Ji Yu and Mr. Zheng Gong presented a plaque of honor to Mr. Tsilidis, expressing the need to strengthen relations between the tourist offices of Greece and China, as a basic vehicle for increasing tourist flows between the two countries, and more specifically with regard to the implementation of commercial trips and trips for the movement of crews in shipping.
Moreover, as Mr. Tsilidis stated: “The extroversion movements of the Federation have intensified in recent times with the aim of strengthening the travel flow between Greece and China since we are in constant contact with delegations from Chinese Regions. We are very optimistic about the fruits of these meetings, given that China is one of the largest and most qualitative outbound tourism markets in the world”.
It is noted that the airline Juneyao started seasonal direct flights between Shanghai and Athens last year, which will continue this year.
