FedHATTA: A bridge of cooperation with tourism professionals in Turkey

  • Two large-scale events in Athens and Thessaloniki, which will take place in the coming period with the aim of strengthening the tourist flow between Greece and Turkey, were the focus of a meeting held by the President of the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Travel & Tourism Agencies (FedHATTA), Mr. Lysandros Tsilidis, with the Counselor of the Culture and Tourism Office of the Turkish Embassy in Greece – representing the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Organization (TGA) – Prof. Veli Aydin (photo).

The purpose of the meeting, which took place at the FedHATTA offices in Athens, was to plan the two events that will take place in Thessaloniki and Athens, on April 8 and 10, respectively.

The events will include presentations of important destinations in Turkey and B2B meetings, aiming to strengthen business relations between tourism professionals from the two countries.

Mr. Tsilidis stated in this regard: “Our effort to expand our tourism relations with Turkey, with the ultimate goal of stimulating the tourist flow between the two countries, has been underway for many years, since 1991, and continues with substantial actions. By bringing together professionals from Greece and Turkey, we ensure the further strengthening of the travel market, to the benefit of both sides.”
