The Federation of Associations of Tourist and Travel Agencies FEDHATTA and the Association of Tourist and Travel Agencies in Greece HATTA express their warm congratulations to the Region of Attica for the promotion of the Taekwondo Stadium as a state-of-the-art and functional multi-site of culture and tourism.
As emphasized in an announcement, this is an emblematic initiative that comes to fill a timeless gap in high-standard infrastructure, which both FedHATTA and HATTA have been highlighting for a number of years as a crucial need for Athens and Attica in general. The undertaking of this project constitutes a reference point for the strengthening of conference tourism, which is a key pillar of the tourist development and economic sustainability of the capital, as well as of the sector of exhibitions and other events of a tourist and cultural nature.
FEDHATTA and HATTA have been steadfast supporters and companions in the efforts to promote and upgrade high-level tourist infrastructures, highlighting their strategic importance for professionals in the sector and for the local community as a whole, as they had previously stated for the corresponding use of Olympic sports centers.
The Region of Attica, with this specific initiative, confirms in practice its vision for the strengthening of Athens as an international destination for conference – exhibition and cultural tourism, offering a modern and functional space, satisfying the increased demands of the market and strengthening the competitiveness of the Greek capital at a global level.
“We hope that this new space will become a magnet for high-profile international and domestic events and will contribute substantially to the revitalization of the local economy and the promotion of our country abroad,” the announcement emphasizes, which concludes:
“FEDHATTA and HATTA remain supportive of every effort and initiative aimed at promoting tourism development and creating sustainable prospects for all professionals in the sector.”
