Greece’s Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni will take part in the “Cooperation for Resilience” conference in support of Ukraine’s cultural sector, which will take place in Uzorod on 1-2 February.
The conference is organized at the initiative of the Ukrainian Minister of Culture Mykola Tochytskyi.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Culture, the conference will be attended by EU Commissioner Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport Glenn Micallef and the European Ministers of Culture. Ministers from friendly countries of Ukraine, such as Australia and Japan, as well as representatives of international organizations, such as UNESCO, will also participate.
The aim of the conference is to draw up a roadmap for the protection and recovery of Ukraine’s cultural sector by analyzing the risks facing the country’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
