Visitors to Greek museums in October 2015 increased by 0,8 percent, and revenues from entrance tickets fell by 3,2 pct compared to the same month last year, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announced.
It added that in the period January-October 2015, there were 6.2 pct more visitors in museums and revenues rose by 6.5 pct, compared to the same period last year.
In terms of archaeological sites, ELSTAT said, that the number of visitors fell by 3.7 pct in October 2015 while revenues dropped by 0.9 pct in comparison with the same month last year.
In the period January-October 2015, the number of visitors in archaeological sites rose by 3.8 pct and revenues increased by 2.9 pct.
