The Minoan Civilization and the causes of its demise will be presented in US explorer Josh Gates’s popular TV series “Expedition Unknown” on Travel Channel this coming fall.
“Expedition Unknown” features Gates’ adventures as he explores unsolved iconic legends across the globe. More that 500,000 viewers watch the scuba diver and photographer who has traveled to more than 90 countries in search of the world’s most enduring legends.
The Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) is supporting and assisting the production of the show by Mr Gates and his 14-member team who are currently in Greece to shoot in Heraklion, Athens, Pylos, Southern Laconia and Santorini.
The specific episode will be screened by the Travel Channel in the USA and Canada, as well as in the UK, Germany, Asia and New Zealand, on TravelChanel.com and the iTunes, Amazon and Netflix platforms.
