Summer is peaking in Greece and many Greek islands are preparing to receive a lot of celebrities from the world of entertainment.
World famous Australian pop star, Kylie Minogue was recently seen again on the island of Sifnos with her 28-year-old fiance Joshua Sasse rekindling their “secret wedding” mystery, after recent reports they were bethrothed secretly on the Greek island.
The Galavant star shared the two verse To My Wife, written by William Ernest Henley, along with a series of hashtags promoting poetry on an Instagram page.
Australian magazine Woman’s Day claimed that the Spinning Around singer flew in their family and friends to the island under the pretence that they were helping her celebrate her 48th birthday, only to hold their wedding.
A source told the publication guests flew first class.
Setting the record straight
However, the English actor took to Twitter to set the record straight, after it was claimed the pair wed in secret.
He tweeted: ‘Apparently I was at a big fat Greek wedding…wish I’d been there!’
Joshua tagged Kylie in the post and added the hashtag ‘rumours, rumours, rumours,’ with the pop princess then retweeting him.
World’s best-kept secret
The Australian magazine, however, quoted hotel owner Dimitris on the island where they stayed as saying that they “will always have happy memories forever by being married here.” “It was the best-kept secret in the world,” said one insider.
Kylie was spotted on Sifnos at Easter as well, and the magazine claims that the visit was to organize the nuptials.
In the meanwhile, other reports claim that the couple will reportedly marry in Italy next month. The news came out after a source reportedly said, “Joshua has been telling his friends in Greece about their plans to marry in Italy,” according to Hello! magazine.
Minogue and Joshua, who have been dating for six months now, were recently in two different countries, according to a close friend.
“Joshua is still in Sifnos, while Kylie is in London – he came back two days after their recent trip there and she will no doubt be back soon.”
February engagement
The 48-year-old Australian songtress met Joshua, 28, while filming TV show Galavant in 2015 and the couple announced their engagement this February.
The actor is best known for playing the title character on ABC series Galavant, which Minogue guest starred on in January.
“I think the general consensus is, we kind of look right together,” the singer previously said of their age difference. “So even though on paper it might not look right, it just is right … Even if I try and act cool and natural, it’s written all over my face that I am very happy.”
Minogue last released the holiday album Kylie Christmas in November. Galavant was canceled after two seasons in May, but Sasse will go on to star on the new CW series No Tomorrow.
