35th Annual Greek Festival kicks off on August 27 in Honolulu, Hawaii

The 35th annual Greek Festival kicked off on August 27 through 28 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The festival is set tho take place at the McCoy Pavillion in Ala Moana Park daily from 12 noon until 9 p.m.

There will be many festive activities celebrating the Greek culture from food stalls to Greek folk dance lessons and live bands.

Over the weekend you can also take in a show of live traditional Greek dancing performed by the Nisiotes Dance Group, as well as a special concert by The Aloha Youth Choir and a presentation by Dr. Achilles Gacis, Ph.D. entitled “Sacred Sites of Hawaii: Religion in Paradise”.

There will also be many goods available to purchase from clothes to food and imports.

Admission is $3.00 for adults and children under 11-years-old are free, along with active military and their families.
