The art platform # Rest @ rt Contemporary Art Platform continues its activities in the Greek islands with the opening of a collective exhibition entitled “The Art Journey …” at the Aqua Gallery in Pyrgos of Santorini.
Twenty-six paintings by contemporary artists, most of them specially designed for this exhibition will be presented from Tuesday, July 4 to Tuesday, August 22 at the Galerie.
The platform is held under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism and is nonprofit. The exhibitions are presented in order to highlight the Greek contemporary art and the creation of a cultural offer for the international visitors of the premises with which the platform collaborates. Under the artistic direction of sculptor Kelly Athanasiadou, the platform has already received excellent reviews for the quality of the works and for the way it uses the spaces that house them. A hundred contemporary artists participate with paintings, sculptures, installations and video projections.
