The Acropolis Museum celebrates nine years of existence on Wednesday, June 20. To mark this anniversary, all exhibition areas and restaurant will stay open until midnight and admission will be free from 20.00 onward.
Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the temporary exhibition “Eleusis: The Great Mysteries” guided by the Museum’s archaeologists and will discover important works from the great mysteries of Eleusis, as well as the connection of Eleusis with Athens and the Acropolis.
The City of Athens Big Band will perform at the museum entrance at 21.00. Admission for the temporary exhibition is 3 euros and space is limited, so registration is required at the museum’s Information Desk. Tours in English will be held at 12.30 and 17.30.
