Lesvos launched a new digital tool to promote the island, with the official presentation of the innovative Lesvos Treasures application by the municipality of western Lesvos.
As it is emphasized, “Lesvos Treasures is an important step in connecting technology with the authentic experience of the visitor, highlighting Lesvos as a 365-day destination.”
The application functions as a kind of interactive game that guides the visitor through thematic routes – naturalistic, cultural, and gastronomic – connecting them directly with the local community and market. At the same time, it provides personalized content, maps, points of interest, and the possibility of rewards through the collection of “treasures” (badges).
Lesvos Treasures was designed as a natural continuation of the tourism platform welcometolesvos.com, which already operates as the official tourist information hub for Lesvos. While the platform focuses on image and information, the new application focuses on experience and active participation.
What Lesvos Treasures offers:

- Strengthening the local economy by promoting businesses
- Expanding the tourist season
- Enriching the travel experience with experiential elements

As noted, the challenge is now not only to attract visitors, but to create powerful experiences that will transform every trip to Lesvos into a story worth reliving.
