The B&E Goulandris Foundation opens its doors to a multi-sensory journey with activities that reveal from the magic of sound and the possibilities of diaphragmatic breathing, to the secrets of flower arranging, the art of embroidery, but also the taste of coffee, herbs and olive oil
The B&E Goulandris Foundation proves once again that art is not limited to the walls of a museum, but is a living, interactive experience that can connect us with ourselves and the world around us.
The goal is to break the separation between “exhibiting” and “experiencing”, to invite the public to actively participate, to hear, touch, smell, taste and ultimately feel art. The following are the activities:
«Sound & Art Immersion»
In the original series “Sound & Art Immersion”, once a month, sound and light “enliven” the exhibition spaces. Presenters Natasha Banaka and Konstantina Spiliopoulou guide the audience on a journey of inner observation with the help of sounds from gongs and melodies, creating a rare experience of connection between the gaze, the emotion and the work of art.
Days and times: Wednesdays 12/11, 17/12/2025 and 21/01, 18/02, 18/03, 01/04/2026 | 19.00–20.00
Information/reservations: Sound & Art Immersion
“The Color of the Voice”
Maria Papageorgiou returns with the seminar “The Color of the Voice”, dedicated to the power of breath and the human voice. In meetings that combine music, physicality and works of art, participants learn how the voice can become a tool for self-knowledge and balance, a bridge between body and soul.
Days and times: Wednesdays 12/11, 17/12/2025 and 21/01, 18/02, 18/03, 01/04/2026 | 18.00–21.00

“From Canvas to Vase”
For lovers of nature and aesthetics, the workshop “From Canvas to Vase” with Maria Papadopoulou draws inspiration from works where nature plays the leading role and translates the colors and forms of the canvases into floral compositions. Each month, participants create their own bouquets, learning flower arranging techniques and ways to bring the freshness of art to their space.
Days and times: Wednesdays 12/11, 17/12/2025, and 21/01, 18/02, 18/03, 01/04/2026 | 19.00-21.00
Information/reservations: “From canvas to vase”
“The embroidery of art”
Traditional art takes on a new dimension through the workshop “The embroidery of art” with Malvina Kokoraki. Here, Greek folklore and classical motifs coexist with modern techniques, proving that embroidery can be just as avant-garde as a work of modern art.
Days and times: Every second Sunday, next November 2nd | 10.30-13.30
Information/reservations: “The Embroidery of Art”
“A Holistic Coffee Tasting Experience at the B&E Goulandris Foundation”
The Foundation does not fail to activate the taste, through a series of holistic tastings that bridge the gastronomic and visual worlds. The action “A Holistic Coffee Tasting Experience”, in collaboration with Yannis Taloumis of Taf, transforms a work by Van Gogh into a starting point for the exploration of the aromas and textures of coffee, while the meeting “Tea in the Countryside of Cézanne” takes us on a journey to the French countryside through Greek herbs and aromatic beverages by Angeliki Drakou (Grizo & Prasino).
