Swedish international striker Marcus Berg is set to renew his contact with Greek football club Panathinaikos, according to sports newspaper ‘Goal News’.
According to the report, Panathinaikos rejected a 6 million Euro offer by Italian club Lazio for the Swede, who reportedly receives an annual fee of over 1.2 million (bonuses excluded) Euros at the greens. Panathinaikos seem determined to keep Berg at the club, which is why they forwarded the necessary documentation for the extension of his current contract with the club until 2020.
