The Greek Ministry of Labor has categorically disputed a newspaper article suggesting that it has agreed to creditor demands on collective dismissals.
According to the report in the Kefalaio newspaper, an agreement was reached which would effectively prevent the State from intervening in collective dismissals in the private sector, while increasing the limit on such dismissals to 10%.
In response, the Ministry underlines that the so-called agreement has been reached or negotiated since the Minister of Labor was in Berlin at the time.
