Sports ministry: Antetokounmpo’s All Star Game huge honor for Greece

The selection of Giannis Antetokounmpo to play in the NBA’s All Star Game is a huge reward for the player and his efforts and a huge honour for Greece, the sports ministry said on Friday in a press release.

The 22-year-old Milwaukee Bucks forward was named a starter for the Eastern Conference in the 2017 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Feb. 19.

“It is a great honour for Greek sports and fills the Greek people with joy and pride the selection of Giannis Antetokounmpo in the main team of the NBA All Star Game.
