Global celebrities visit Greece for their summer 2017 vacations (update)

Summer in Greece is here and you can always count on spotting international celebrities, fashionistas and socialites around the beautiful Greek Islands- this year is no exception, greekcitytimes.com reports and adds that “Celebs including rock stars, models, A list actors and soccer sensations have made their way to Paros, Mykonos, Antipaxos and other stunning destinations, where they have enjoyed the Mediterranean sun, water and relaxed lifestyle. From Joh Bon Jovi, Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn and Will Smith, to Hugh Jackman, Ryan Serhart and Francesco Totti- these famous stars have taken to Instagram and other social media pages to let the rest of the world know how much they love a Greek getaway.”

The list of celebrities that have elected Greece for their summer holidays this season already includes:

Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell

Hollywood actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell prefer Greece and Skiathos is their favourite spot for a summer getaway. From the Grecian food, sun, sea and music, the down to earth couple enjoy leisurely days on Skiathos, where they catch all the best this low key island has to offer.

Jon Bon Jovi

World famous rock star Jon Bon Jovi is also a fan of the country, having holidayed with his family here in 2013. This year, he was spotted in Mykonos and Paros where he spent time with his wife Dorothy and other friends, swimming, eating and taking in the laid back Greek lifestyle.

Will Smith

Hollywood actor and musician Will Smith, wife Jada Pinkett and daughter Willow had a great time in Antipaxos, where they made headlines for helping clean one of the remote beaches.

The talented family also made their way to Corfu, where they mingled with locals and enjoyed traditional Greek dishes.

Hugh Jackman

Australia’s much loved actor Hugh Jackman recently spent quality time with his family in Greece. Hugh along with wife Deborra-Lee Furness and children Ava 11, and Oscar 17 loved their family time in Antiparos, where they sailed around the island, enjoying the stunning surroundings.

Kendall Jenner

American model and younger sister to the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner has just landed on Mykonos, where she is expected to live it up in true Hollywood style. Kendall enjoyed her day at Nammos, where most celebs and socialites head when they hit one of Greece’s most popular islands.

Nicole Scherzinger

English pop singer, host and judge Nicole Scherzinger also arrived in Mykonos with some of her nearest and dearest to swim, tan and relax this summer. Nicole posted lots of snaps of herself on her Instagram page, for all of her followers to catch her Grecian getaway.

Brazilian top model Alessandra Ambrosio enjoyed the Mykonos beach life with partner Jamie Mazur.

The 36-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel and Jamie enjoy Greece and try to escape to its isles as much as they can.
