The biggest and brightest moon of the year will rise in Greece on Tuesday and will be the third and best out of the four supermoons of 2020, ANA reports.
At 21:08 Greek time on Tuesday, the moon will approach the Earth at its closest point for this year, at a distance of 356,907 kilometers (perigee).
A few hours later, at 05:35 Greek time on Thursday, there will be a full moon. The near coincidence of a full moon with the moon’s perigee is expected to make tidal phenomena stronger.
