There are 28 new confirmed coronavirus cases in Greece since yesterday, the National Public Health Organization said on Thursday, bringing total cases since the outbreak began to 3,458, ANA reports.
According to information released later in the day, the 28 new cases include 7 who arrived in Greece from abroad. The remaining 21 were confirmed as carriers mostly in northern Greece, with 10 cases located in the epidemiologically burdened area of Xanthi.
Eight Greeks are intubated at hospitals. Their median age is 60 years and 4 are women. An 87.5 pct has an underlying condition or is aged 70 and above.
