The Stoa of Attalos museum will shut down for 14 days after a coronavirus incidence among staff, but the outdoor areas of the ancient site of the Athenian Agora will remain open, the Ministry of Culture & Sports said, as of Monday, ANA reports.
A female staff member, part of the cleaning crew in the Athenian Agora, the Roman Agora and Hadrian’s Library, notified the Ephorate of Antiquities in Athens that tests at a public hospital found she was infected with COVID-19. She had worked through August 4 (Tuesday), while her supervisors said she was particularly assiduous in keeping all safety and health measures.
