Greece confirmed 2,448 new coronavirus cases on Friday, of which 63 were identified at the country’s entry points, said the National Public Health Organization (EODY), ANA reports.
All cases in Greece total 52,254, of which 4,369 are related to travel from abroad and 15,192 to already confirmed infection cases.
EODY also registered 14 new deaths, bringing coronavirus fatalities to 715 in total. The median age of all fatalities was 79 years, 96.5 pct had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or more, and 279 were women.
