The public should limit their activities outside of homes and always carry snow chains in their cars on national highways, Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chryssohoidis said on Thursday, following a meeting at Civil Protection headquarters on Kifissias Avenue ahead of heavy snow expected this weekend, ANA reports.
“We beg you not to circulate, or to reduce your movements to the minimum over the coming days. Whoever is obliged to circulate, bring snow chains with you. For heaven’s sake, do not use the emergency lane, because this could create problems,” he underlined.
