Greek Prime Minister meets with inoculated people aged 64-93 at Maximos Mansion

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met 7 inoculated citizens aged 64-93 at Maximos Mansion on Thursday and urged them to spread the message of the importance of vaccination in their age groups, ANA reports.

“The risk of staying unvaccinated is very high,” the premier noted, pointing out that of the 200 patients placed on ventilators in March only three citizens had been fully vaccinated. It is therefore crucial that older citizens prompt their peers to make that decision soon; vaccines are plenty for the country’s higher age groups and more are coming as of this month, he stressed.

The feeling of security after one has been vaccinated affects all aspects of life positively, added Mitsotakis. Most of his visitors at the prime ministerial mansion testified to the fact that simple things, like visiting one’s grandchildren or going for a walk are now performed under the same rules but with peace of mind.
