Greece records 2,146 COVID-19 cases and 134 deaths during the last 48 hours

There were 2,146 laboratory-confirmed new cases of Covid-19 in Greece over the last 48 hours, of which nine were located at Greece’s entrance gates the authorities announced on Easter Monday, May 3, according to ANA.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 348,568 (daily rate of change 0.6 pct), of which 51.3 pct are men. 
There were 134 fatalities from Covid-19 over the 48-hour period, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 10,587 and 95.4 pct of those that died had either some underlying disease or were aged above 70 years old.
