Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias, in an interview with the Greek Herald of Australia, expressed his certainty that Greece will be able to build a satisfactory ‘wall of immunity during the summer if deliveries from the pharmaceutical companies arrive on schedule, as all the vaccines that come to the country are immediately sent to the vaccination centres, ANA reports.
Kikilias emphasized that the increase in vaccination coverage does not mean that protection measures, such as the wearing of face masks, observing distances and washing hands, can be dispensed with. “We should not let our guard down because the pandemic is still here,” he said.
