Greece’s Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis spoke on Tuesday on SKAI TV about the new measures announced yesterday by the government in the shadow of the spread of the ‘Omicron’ variant, ANA reports.
Commenting on the change of operating hours to restaurants and entertainment centers as of January 3, Georgiadis stated that “the restaurants will not be affected, but the nightclubs will indeed be hurt”.
In fact, he described the measures as relatively mild.
“We left the market open because the pressure on the health system has not started yet and we respect the businessmen. “I appeal to young people, if they have been to nightclubs, they’d better avoid meeting elderly people,” he said.
