Greek government announces €16.91 million for fire protection actions

Greek government spokesperson Yiannis Economou, in a tweet on Thursday, announced the distribution of 16.91 million euros to cover fire protection actions in Greek municipalities, ANA reports.

“The amount of 16.91 million euros will be distributed from the central independent resources to the municipalities to cover fire protection actions, while the Attica municipalities associations will be subsidized with the amount of 1.49 million euros. With a plan, we strengthen the fire protection of the country in time,” he said.
