On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of its foundation, the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCCH) implemented the 1st Panhellenic Primary School Student Painting Competition entitled “I Paint Hospitality”. The response from students across the country exceeded all expectations, reaching 2,300 entries and proving that Hospitality, as a value and as an experience, can be an inspiration for children throughout Greece.
The Competition Evaluation Committee, consisting of:
– Elisabeth Barg, Art Historian specializing in Contemporary Art and Social and Cultural History of Art, Museologist,
– Eleni Andreadi, author of children’s novels, educator specializing in the creation of educational programs,
– Athena Nella, Assistant Professor of Tourism Marketing at the Hellenic Open University (HOU),
– Evangelos Mavrikakis, educator, scientific associate of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels,
highlighted the 18 winners – three (3) from each grade of Primary School (1st to 6th) – with works that stood out for their imagination, sensitivity and the special way in which they captured the concept of Hospitality.
