GNTO: 4 ERMIS awards for Olympic campaign in France

The GNTO campaign, which promoted Greece as the ideal holiday destination in France during the Olympic Games this summer, won four ERMIS 2025 awards, including the top GRAND ERMIS. The awards were presented at a special event at the Athens Conservatory on Friday, January 31.

With the logo of Greek hospitality and the feeling of “victory”, the GNTO campaign incorporated golden Greek sunsets, the silver colors of the Greek seabed, and the bronze sand of Greek beaches. These images appeared on screens and billboards in Paris, highlighting the colors of the Olympic medals, with the aim of attracting French and international visitors to live a unique experience in Greece.

The campaign, created by Ogilvy for the Greek National Tourism Organization, was distinguished in the following categories:

GRAND ERMIS – AD OUTDOOR Category

GOLD ERMIS – AD OUTDOOR Category (Group “Financial Services, Tourism, Leisure, Transportation, Other”)

GOLD ERMIS – AD OUTDOOR Category (Group “Series of Projects”)

SILVER ERMIS – AD OUTDOOR Category (Group “Financial Services, Tourism, Leisure, Transportation, Other”)

On the occasion of these new distinctions, the Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Mr. Andreas Fiorentinos, stated:

“It is a pleasure and an honor for us to continue the success and recognition of the advertising efforts of the Greek National Tourism Organization, in this digital era. Our goal is to promote Greece as the ideal destination for unforgettable holidays, through messages that distinguish it from the competition and arouse the interest of our audience. We thank the advertising agency and all the executives of the Organization for their dedication to quality and the excellent work they presented, which contributed decisively to the excellent performance of this campaign. This year, we expect to exceed 2 million French tourists in Greece for the first time.”
