Lesvos will be promoted to an audience of over 30,000 visitors in the coming period, as the island’s chamber will participate in the 28th International Tourism Exhibition EMITT (East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition), which will be held from 5 to 7 February 2025 in Istanbul.
As one of the five leading tourism exhibitions worldwide, EMITT annually attracts approximately 30,000 industry professionals and travelers looking for new, exciting destinations and innovative travel services from all over the world.
The Lesvos Chamber of Commerce stand will be located in Hall 8 – Stand 8461 and visitors will have the opportunity to discover:
• The unique natural beauties and landscapes of Lesvos, Lemnos, and Agios Efstratios.
• The rich cultural monuments and history of the islands.
• The traditional cuisine, local products, and the special flavors they offer.
This is not the first time that the country’s chambers have actively contributed to the promotion of Greek destinations in foreign markets. In particular, one of Lesvos has one more reason to show the appropriate extroversion, since the economic strength of the professionals of Lesvos also depends on the visits of Turkish tourists to the island. Strength in unity, therefore, for the good of local communities.
