ANIMASYROS, the largest International Animation Festival in Greece and one of the largest in Europe, returns, from 22 to 28 September 2025, to the capital of the Cyclades and invites creators from all over the world to submit their films by 1 June 2025.
The ANIMASYROS 2025 program includes 8 competition sections, special tributes, the Agora – which is a reference center for the industry in the Eastern Mediterranean, educational workshops, a VR lounge, a rich program of parallel activities, and new international and domestic collaborations.
The main theme of this year’s event, entitled “Animated Cosmos”, is dedicated to space and runs through all the pillars of the Festival, aiming to highlight how the art of animation approaches, explores, and depicts this vast and mysterious field for humans.
