The Peloponnese region is preparing for the Travel News Market 2025 tourism exhibition to be held on November 27 in Stockholm. This is the most important B2B event in Sweden, bringing together tourism professionals, tour operators, travel agents and MICE experts from all over Scandinavia.
The region’s participation will take place at the national pavilion of the Greek National Tourism Organization, with the possibility for co-exhibitors – municipalities, agencies and tourism businesses – to have an autonomous booth and corporate branding. As announced, the region covers 50% of the participation cost, with the remaining amount amounting to 800 euros plus VAT. The package includes full equipment, a meeting table and access to the official buyers platform, where participants will be able to schedule targeted B2B meetings.
At this point, it should be emphasized that interested parties can register until October 20, 2025, while a priority order will be observed due to limited available places. After the completion of registrations, the region will send instructions regarding the technical specifications of the stand and the program of the exhibition.
The Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism Thanos Michelongonas pointed out that the participation of the Peloponnese in this exhibition is a strategic choice to strengthen the presence of the region in the Scandinavian market, a market with high income and particular sensitivity to issues of sustainability and authenticity. As he stated characteristically, “in collaboration with the Regional Governor of the Peloponnese Dimitris Ptochos, we continue to invest in actions that enhance the extroversion of our businesses, create substantial opportunities for cooperation and highlight the unique identity of the Peloponnese as a four-season destination.”
At the same time, through the Visit Peloponnese Connect platform, the region invites all tourism, culture and gastronomy professionals to join the cooperation network, with the aim of continuous information, participation in international actions and the creation of new synergies that will strengthen the unified tourism identity of the Peloponnese.
The presence in Stockholm marks another step in the region’s path towards the European market, with an emphasis on sustainable development, authenticity and the multidisciplinary experience that characterizes southern Greece.
