With impressive participation, a rich artistic program and a warm atmosphere of enthusiasm, the 18th Medieval Festival of Rhodes, which took place on October 10–12, 2025 in the Medieval City, was completed.
For another year, the island “traveled through time”, through revivals, performances, workshops, spectacles and actions inspired by the Middle Ages, offering residents and visitors a unique cultural experience.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its foundation, the “Medieval Rhodes” association gave new life to the organization this year, emphasizing the revival of traditional arts that tend to be lost, as well as the promotion of the historical character of Rhodes as a place of cultural coexistence.
The positive impact of the event remains alive, with dozens of thank-you messages and posts on social media from the public, who share photos and videos, showcasing Rhodes internationally through its history and cultural heritage.
The cultural association “Medieval Rhodes”, organizer of the festival, expresses warm thanks to the co-organizers – the Region of South Aegean, the Municipality of Rhodes (Directorate of Culture) and DERMAE – as well as to all the supporters, sponsors and communication sponsors, who contributed to the success of the institution.
Special mention is made to the volunteers who actively participated in the actions, to the groups of resuscitators from Greece and abroad, to the artists and technical collaborators, but also to all those who worked with passion and dedication for the perfect organization.
This year’s event proved once again that the Rhodes Medieval Festival is an institution with international appeal, uniting past and present, highlighting the identity and hospitality of the island.
