The sustainable tourism growth is one of Greek Tourism Ministry’s priorities and in this context the general secretary of the ministry Giorgos Tziallas participated in an education visit to Vienna for the exchange of knowhow on the practices followed by Greece and Austria on sustainable tourism growth.
The meetings were organized in the cooperation framework of SRSS. Tziallas met with Dr Angelika Liedler-Janoschik, head of the International Relations of Tourism of Austria’s ministry of Science, Research and Economy and briefed her on Greece’s tourism policy the strategic growth targets of the Greek tourism.
The Greek official also met with Dr. Petra Stolba, CEO of the Austrian Tourism Organisation, with Dr. Christian Vanik representative of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and with the President of Modul University of Vienna Dr. Karl Wober.
