Three orphan bear cubs from Bulgaria find refuge in Greek sanctuary

Three orphan bear cubs from Bulgaria are the latest additions to the Arcturos’ sanctuary in Florina, joining the two cubs already staying at the shelter, ANA reports.

The three cubs (two male and one female) were located wandering near the Bulgarian village of Batounci and were temporarily taken in by the animal welfare organisation ‘Four Paws’ in Belitsa, which contacted Arcturos and asked that it temporarily give the cubs shelter for a few months until they can be reintroduced to the Bulgarian mountains.
