Train workers to hold 24-hour strike in Greece on Friday

A 24-hour strike has been announced for Friday, June 8 by train workers at Proastiakos in Athens and broader Attica Region.

The Metro Blue Line 3 to and from Athens International Airport will be affected by the strike of the OSE and Proastiakos (Suburban) trains, and will only go as far as Doukissis Plakendias metro station and not link to the airport.

Other workers’ strikes on Thursday June 7, 2018 include work stoppages on the same metro line from 5:00 am to 8:00 am, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm to 12:00 am.
