The experience of a group of friends in their inflatable boat in Mezapos, in Eastern Mani, was unique, when they saw a whale next to them, protothema.gr reports.
The incident took place on Friday afternoon, a few miles from Gerolimenas, when one of the most impressive animals on the planet, a whale of about 18-20 meters in length, with huge body weight, appeared before them and stayed there for quite some time.
The whale gave the full show: Jumps, maneuvers, dives, and a characteristic noise they make when they eject water. Experts say it was male since it was alone and quite large in size.
