Trapped whale in shallow waters swam by itself to open sea in Greece (video)

The whale that was trapped in shallow waters swam by itself to the open sea again, protothema.gr reports.

The whale was seen again in the morning on a rocky shore of Selinia beach in Salamina island, while yesterday morning it was trapped in the shallows of Alimos beach.

According to the ARION Rescue team, “after the administration of the appropriate treatment, it showed signs of improvement”.

Earlier a moving video had emerged from Friday’s efforts to save it, with a volunteer singing to the whale in order to calm it down.
