Young bear injured in road accident returned to its natural habitat in Greece

A young brown bear that sustained a head injury in a collision with a vehicle on October 13, 2023, near the village Neapolis in Kozani, was back in its natural habitat, the wildlife protection organization Arcturos announced on Friday, ANA reports.
The young bear, named “Glika” (Sweetness) at the Arcturos Wildlife Veterinary Hospital where she was taken for treatment, made a full recovery and was released back into the wild a few days ago. According to the organization’s announcement, “When the door of the transportation cage was opened, Glika rushed out and disappeared into the forest”.
