Hellenic Parliament indowntown Athens undergoes energy upgrades

Hellenic Parliament has undergone significant energy and aesthetic upgrades. Specifically, the project involved the energy-efficient upgrading of the lighting for the façades of the Parliament, the courtyard areas, all architectural elements within these areas, the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, the Vehicle Station, the Nursery, and the television lighting for the meeting rooms, ANA reports.

The project, with a budget of 1,900,000 euros, was financed by the Green Fund’s “ Environmental Balance Actions” Programme for the year 2022 and completed on July 7.

The new lighting has aesthetically enhanced the nighttime appearance of the Parliament Building and its surroundings within a modern framework of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
