Swimming ban lifted at Volos beaches following clean water test results

The Central Port Authority of Volos announced on Monday the lifting of the swimming ban at beaches in the broader Volos area, ANA reports.

Swimming is now permitted at all beaches from Agria to Saint George of Kynigos, following concerns about dead fish in the Pagasetic Gulf and potential water contamination.

The decision to lift the ban came after laboratory results confirmed that the waters in the Pagasetic Gulf are clean and clear.
