With the crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea and the authentic natural beauty of Kefalonia as a backdrop, the content production within the framework of the #TravelReimagined campaign stole the show, presenting the island through an experiential, modern, and authentic perspective.
The project was implemented with the support of Marketing Greece, which continues to invest in innovative destination promotion actions, redefining the way we narrate the tourist experience in Greece. Through “Travel Reimagined”, the need for tourism focused on sustainability, local identity, and meaningful contact with the place and its people was highlighted.
A key role in the success of this production was played by local organizations and businesses that embraced the campaign’s vision:
- The Ainos Dark Sky National Park, a unique natural lung, offered access to special landscapes.
- The Wildlife Sense team gave the mission the opportunity to get up close to the valuable work of protecting the sea turtle Caretta caretta.
- Fteri Escape – Motor Boats Rental contributed with sea tours to inaccessible bays such as the famous Fteri.
- Ktima Petrakopoulos opened its doors, offering a wine tasting experience and getting to know the indigenous varieties.
- The Myrtilo restaurant confirmed the potential of local gastronomy.
- Finally, En Kefallinia sealed the mission’s hospitality.
Kefalonia, through the lens and narrative of “Travel Reimagined”, emerges as a destination that is not content with its natural charm but invests in creating experiences with substance, value, and duration.
