Alternative tourism and sustainability at the heart of GNTO action in Bari

A special event dedicated to the “unknown” Greece was held on the Superfast Ferries ship, in the port of Bari, with the participation of dozens of tourism professionals.

Kyriaki Boulasidou (photo), head of the GNTO Office in Italy, welcomed Italian tour operators on board, in a targeted action to promote less-promoted Greek destinations and authentic experiences, focusing on the value of a more sustainable and conscious tourism.

“With a common denominator of fruitful dialogue and genuine love for Greece, we continue to promote our country with passion and vision,” said Ms. Boulasidou, thanking the participants for their interest and contribution.

The action is part of the broader context of the Greek National Tourism Organization’s efforts to strengthen the image of Greece as a destination of authenticity and quality, inviting Italian travelers to discover its unknown aspects.
