Delphi Botanical Garden Completes Footprint Study in Collaboration with Deloitte

The Delphi Botanical Garden, as part of its ongoing effort to enhance environmental sustainability and highlight the region’s biodiversity, completed the organization’s Corporate Responsibility Action Report for 2023, summarizing the Garden’s work and its footprint on Society and the Environment, along with its contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), in collaboration with Deloitte.

The study documents the Garden’s substantial contribution to environmental protection, public education and awareness, as well as the promotion of local development through the sustainable management of natural resources. Particular emphasis was placed on:

The preservation and promotion of the local flora, with more than 250 plant species, of which 10 are protected,
The education of pupils and students through scientific programs and workshops,
The collaboration with national and international bodies to strengthen environmental knowledge and action,
The contribution to the local economy, through the promotion of the Garden as an ecotourism and cultural destination.
This specific initiative is part of the broader strategic vision of the Delphi Botanical Garden for a green, educational and socially responsible organization, which functions as a core of knowledge, culture and sustainable development.
